If you had an older version of OBS previously installed, uninstall that one first. If explorer.exe doesn't re-launch itself after a delay you can force it to start again in task manager by clicking "File > New task and typing "explorer.exe" in the box and pressing ok. I'm not sure how this will affect windows 10 (I still use 7) but try to run the installer with explorer.exe closed. If the install still won't work, open task manager "CTRL+SHIFT+ESC" and end the explorer.exe then try running it again. Run it as administrator: Right-click > Run as Admin. Try making sure there are no OBS processes active and no games or apps open. Some people have reported explorer.exe being the issue as well.
